The Office of Institutional Planning, Effectiveness, and Compliance

The Office of Institutional Planning, Effectiveness, and Compliance provides meaningful data and analysis, facilitates planning processes, adheres to state and federal reporting requirements, and coordinates assessment activities across campus.

Mission

To support data informed decision-making, strategic planning, continuous improvement within Ocean County College, and to ensure the college adheres to the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) accrediting standards.

Goals

  1. To provide timely, accurate, and meaningful data and analysis to campus constituents in an easily understood format
  2. To coordinate systematic assessment of educational, support services, and administrative effectiveness
  3. To facilitate the strategic planning process including the development, implementation, and tracking of the College’s strategic plan.
  4. To ensure the on-time submission of federal and state regulatory reports
  5. To maintain compliance with MSCHE standards and to continue to receive commendations
  6. To foster a data-informed culture by supporting data access and independence

Dr. Beshara-Blauth has primary responsibility for managing regional accreditation activities, serves as the Accreditation Liaison Officer, leads the college’s strategic planning process, and provides vision and oversight for institutional research, institutional effectiveness, and assessment. Dr. Beshara-Blauth also works on special projects assigned by the President and serves in a consulting capacity for the development of core institutional planning documents including but not limited to the Academic Master Plan and the Technology Strategic Plan.

Ms. Daly plans, organizes, and coordinates administrative assessment processes for thorough and continuous evaluation. Ms. Daly monitors administrative plans for unit reviews, supports the documentation of reports, benchmarks, and recommendations, and engages the college community in evaluation activities to boost institutional effectiveness and meet strategic goals.

Mr. Marshall plans, organizes, and coordinates academic and administrative assessment processes in support of accreditation requirements and institutional effectiveness. This includes but is not limited to course level assessment, general education assessment, program review and administrative planning documents.

Mr. Rua is responsible for collecting, managing, analyzing, interpreting, and communicating data related to all areas of the institution. Mr. Rua serves as the college’s expert in survey design and administration, conducts statistical analysis for research projects, and assists in the completion of regulatory reports.

Michael Mitchell

Mr. Mitchell is responsible for collecting, managing, analyzing, interpreting, and communicating data related to all areas of the institution to inform decision-making. Mr. Mitchell performs financial analysis of the international programs, responds to internal and external data requests that span the institution, assists with the maintenance of the college’s data warehouse and dashboards, updates annual data reports, and conducts statistical analysis.
